I am happy to say that our 3rd annual Picture Day with Santa was a great success. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came out and gave donations and to Marcia and the team at Trailside Coffee for hosting the event again this year. We raised over 40 toys and over $300 for Toy Lift. The event even made an appearance on the NBC 29 6:00 news. Yay!!

I decided this year it would be fun to make a collage of the criers. The 1 to 2 year olds cry about 75% of the time. I either tell Mom to sit beside Santa with their child on her knee or to just drop and run (cruel I know, but no less funny). Here is a collage of the droppers and runners. It cracks me up every time. Gotta love the stranger anxiety phase.

And PS. the pictures are up for download! Here is how to get your picture(s):

1. Go to www.angiebrementphotography.com/cart
Enter password: TSSanta

2. Find the picture you would like. Under “Order Prints”
choose Digital Downloads. Under Select File Size
choose Digital Download $0. Click Add to Cart.
Check out as normal from your shopping cart.
Choose “Pickup” and “Pay Offline.”

3. I will need to approve your download once the order
is placed. This should take a day or so. Once it is
ready for download, you will get an email.

Last weekend, I got to attend and be a part of one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever attended. Perfectly dubbed “Love Fest,” Clare Turton and Justin Derrico exchanged vows at his family farm in beautiful Western Albemarle County. I was excited to be asked to break out the photo booth for this event… packed full of dancers and musicians who were more than willing to have some fun in the booth. Congrats to you guys! Last weekend, I got to see another one of my sweet squishy newborns turn 1! I love seeing how much little ones grow throughout the year. You may remember Ava Katheryn.. she won cutest baby of 2009 on the blog! Ava’s party was held downtown at the Paramount Theater. It is such a beautiful venue. I never knew we had such a gem on the downtown mall! Little Ava enjoyed every minute of the limelight and the party was a blast. Thanks for letting me celebrate with you!

Dreaming of Spring.. A Blog Contest {Charlottesville Custom Photography}

So, today I have the Monday winter blahs & am dreaming, dreaming, dreaming of Spring. So, there is no better way to gear up for Spring than with a blog giveaway contest.

So here are the rules:

All you need to do is leave a comment at the bottom of this post. Then pass on this blog link to at least two of your friends or family. You are welcome to send it to more than two, but only the first two to leave a comment will be eligible for the giveaway. Those two people that you send the link to will then return the love with a comment and acknowledge the person that sent the email in the comment. You must live within a 40 minute radius of the the Charlottesville/Waynesboro, VA area or be willing to make the drive to this area for your photo session.

Everyone that leaves a comment will then be put in a hat and a name will be drawn. Posting for comments will close next Monday at noon, and a name will be drawn by my daughter and the winners will be announced on Tuesday, March 3rd! The name pulled along with the first two people they sent the email to and left a comment will get a free session. The free session can include up to five people per family and each family will receive in addition to the free session a 8×10 print. The session will occur on a Tuesday, Thursday or weekend day and the date/time slots will be given at a later date.
