I’ve been working on this for over a year now and finally feel that I am at the point that I can finally put this together (I’ll be moved into the new house and settled in, whew!). I’ve been asked by several people that are new to DSLR photography to put together a workshop.. a basic “How to take better pictures of my kids.” Well C’Ville (and surrounding areas) here it is.. Drum roll:
This class is geared towards those that are new to owning a DSLR and want to make it more than a point and shoot camera. It will involve some “classroom” time as well as some shooting time on the downtown mall. Look for some fun giveaways and goodies coming soon! Please join Trailside Coffee and Angie Brement Photography for the 2nd Annual Photos with Santa Charity Event on December 4th from 10-2 at Trailside Coffee in the Old Trail Village in Crozet. I will be taking professional pictures with Santa and your little ones to help raise money for the area Toy Lift (www.kidslift.org). A $10 donation or toy is requested, but not required. Digital files will be emailed to you w/in 2 weeks of the event!
Last year this event raised $340 and 25 toys for Toy Lift! Looking forward to seeing many faces that I know, as well as new ones! Happy Holidays everyone!

Time: 9:00 – 2:00
Investment: $200 (Includes 25 minute session, 5-10 online proofs to choose from and 2 digital files).
Details: Each session will last 25 minutes. Within 2 to 3 weeks, I will post an online gallery of 5-10 pictures to choose from. You can choose 2 digital files that will be sent to you. Great for Holiday gifts and Holiday cards. Please limit session to immediate family only (up to 5 members). $100 deposit due w/in 1 week of booking. I have several people waiting for this, so spots may fill quickly. Spots will be 1st come, 1st serve. Looking forward to it!!

I decided to end 2009 with something new: I set up a photo booth at a New Years Eve party. I asked friends to bring fun props and my good friend, Shetal, showed up with the motherload! I am excited to announce that I have a new photography display up in Trailside Coffee (located in Old Trail Village in Crozet). I am showcasing 2 different ideas: {Baby As Art} featuring several Old Trail babies and {Old Trail Scenes}.. beautiful nature photography taken around Old Trail. I am very excited to announce our new Baby’s First Year Program. Babies change so much throughout their 1st year, so why not capture the smiles, the fat rolls & the milestones?
This program includes 3 sessions to take place during your baby’s 1st year of life. Total cost is $400 & includes a custom 10×20 storyboard with photos or your choice from any of the 3 sessions. Also as an added bonus, you can add on a maternity session for $100 more.
1. Newborn or 3 Month Session.. The best time to capture all of the little details of your baby. It’s also a great chance to capture the bonding moments b/t you and your baby.
2. 6 Month Session.. Baby will be sitting, smiling & full of excitement to share.
3. 1 Year Old Session… Baby will be moving around & exploring the world. This is the perfect opportunity to capture that developing personality or even celebrate with a 1st Birthday Cake Smash.

Angie Brement Photography is seeking Senior Marketing Reps in the Charlottesville/Waynesboro area. We will be choosing 2 reps from each area high school: 1 boy rep & 1 girl rep to represent the Class of 2010. You must have your parents’ permission to enter this competition. Choosen reps will receive a free mini-modeling session (must be completed by May 1st) and a 1/2 off a full session (to take place this Summer). Reps can earn $25 cash from each referral or Photography Credit Points to go towards prints, cards and your full photo shoot.
