I think little Miss L gets the 2010 award for sleepiest newborn (every photographer’s dream). She slept about 80% of our session, which made for excellent posing and beautiful pictures! It was great getting to spend some quality time w/this little gem and her family. She’s a doll!!
My apologies on not posting for *gulp* almost 2 months! I’ve had a busy Summer with the family… fun vacations and mini getaways. I’m sad to see it come to an end here shortly! In 2 weeks time, I’ll be posting 1st day of Kindergarten pics. Where does the time go??
In July, I got to meet this brand new lovely lady! Isn’t she adorable?? She has a beautiful family too. I’m very proud of big brother, Mr. G, who worked so patiently with me to pull of this 1st shot!!
Meet cutie pie Miss “M.” She made it home just in time for her photo debut (at 4 days old)! She was into the photo session and didn’t want to miss a thing… She got a little mad at me for getting her nekkid (she didn’t like the whole naked posing thing). Once we got her in the swaddle, she was a happy little clam! Thank you for letting me share the journey with you “V” family.
I got to spend the afternoon yesterday with the cutest and sleepiest little man. Mr. “L” is already a pro being a model… In fact, he is such a pro, he slept through most of the session. Thanks for letting me spend the afternoon with you and your wonderful family Mr. “L.” You are gorgeous!
OK.. This one is my favorite from the session!! Such a beautiful family.
So, this pose was my favorite when my youngest Josie was born. It hangs on a 20×40 gallery wrap canvas over our bed. I adore it every time I see it. I’ve neglected this pose lately, so we brought it back for this session… and it turned out better than mine! I mean.. look at how cute the little peek a boo toes are!!
I was very excited when Elisa Bricker of Elisa B Photography asked me to come to her home and take pictures of her newborn boy Mr. L. He was such a little sweetheart. Even though is is a bit older then I prefer for newborn pics, he was a champ and we got some sleepy pics from him. It was great to meet you Mr. L.. I’m sure you will be a well photographed little man!
Oh the Squishiness!
He kept making this adorable face.. half sucked in lip. Way Too Cute!
I finally got to meet little Miss Lola Rose last weekend. We’ve been anxiously awaiting her arrival at our house. She is a precious and beautiful little lady and I’m so glad I got to photograph her. Don’t you just want to hug her?? Enjoy!
#1! Congrats Mom, Dad & Baby “A.” Thanks for all of your love, support and great referrals to help grown my photography business over the last year. You guys total deserve this!
So, last night I was rummaging through some files (that, of course, need to be filed) and ran across a certificate for a free 20×24 mounted print that expires 10/31. I won this certificate when I attended the Tot’s To Teens Seminar (by Sandy Puc) in Raleigh last Spring. I racked my brain all night trying to figure out what picture I would like.. Then, this morning I woke up and decided to give it away.
So here’s how it works: Vote for your favorite 2009 Angie Brement Photography Baby image. Voting will be open for 1 week (ending at 11:59 PM) on Friday, October 16th. There can only be 1 vote cast per IP address. Spread the work… tell friends, family & co-workers about the contest & have them vote for your child. Winner must let me know what print from their session that they would like by Oct. 25th. Prize value is $200. Good luck and thank you to all of my clients!
What do you get with not only 1, but 2 photographers and a sleepy newborn?? Unbelievable pictures!! Brook Robinson (a local photog) came over this AM with her new little bundle, Lila Kate. I typically try to capture newborns within the first 2 weeks of life, but due to scheduling problems, Lila Kate came at 18 days old, but performed like a champ!! Brook and I got to try out lots of new poses and several props that I borrowed from yet another local photog (Amy Lantz of Dragonfly Studios). Thanks to you both Brook & Amy!
I have been waiting for some time to work with twins and I finally got the chance this week! How excited was I to meet the D twins!! Let me tell you, these little gals gave me a run for my money. One twin was sleepy and one twin was a firecracker that did not want to miss any bit of her photo shoots (yes, I said shoots… 2 attempts for sleepy babies!) Below is a mixture of session 1 and session 2. You will be able to tell which one is sleepy twin, but feisty little lady never slept! What you see below are eye blinks! Enjoy these cute little gals!
