I had a quick little session w/this soon to be big brother a couple of weeks ago. He is so excited about his little sister… due to arrive any time now! Mr. D, I can’t wait to meet her too!!

This lucky family received their photo shoot as a gift from a dear friend. It was so fun to help prepare the surprise for them and they were such a wonderful family to work with. I’ve had a lot of families that are leaving the area soon and wanted to preserve some memories on the UVA lawn before they move. It was kind of fun and different for me to focus more on Mommy than kiddo. It was great to meet you “V” family. I look forward to meeting little “V.”

I just love pregnancy glow and this soon to be mama just shines. It’s so fun to see the excitement of 1st time parents.. the wonder and amazement as they take on a new journey in life. That is one of the things I love most about being a photographer… getting a little glimpse of the journey. *Almost* makes me want to do it again (I can’t believe I just wrote that!!) Congrats on your upcoming arrival. I can’t wait to meet your little man in a couple of months!

I got to meet w/a fellow Charlottesville photographer, Brook Robinson, last week. She is expecting her 3rd girl in June! She looks fantastic and let me try out several new poses! Yay! Got to meet with this mom expecting twins last week. She is expecting girls and I cannot wait to meet the 2 sweet little peanuts! She has some great friends that bought her a gift certificate for both maternity and newborn pictures. This is one of the things I love about my job.. getting to see the wonder & excitement from 1st time Moms!! What a lucky gal… great friends & twins! I’m looking forward to our next session!!
